Robotics in Healthcare

a webinar dedicated to the role of robotics in healthcare was held within the framework of the ODIN Open Innovation Hub. This meeting was led by Prof. Gastone Ciuti from BioRobotics Institute at Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa

Unlocking change management in the hospital of the future

this session took place on July 10, 2024, and was led by MSc. Beatriz Merino, a Biomedical Engineer specializing in Medical Images, with credentials from the Technical University of Madrid.

This session provided an in-depth look at the comprehensive vision of the ODIN project, focusing on strategies developed to effectively integrate change management practices in hospital settings. Additionally, the session addressed the barriers and challenges faced when introducing innovations into hospital processes.

AI Regulation in Europe

the third webinar was held on October 27, 2024, hosted at Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, with remote access also provided. Prof. Leandro Pecchia of Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma and Giuseppe Fico, Coordinator of the Health area at LST Group at UPM, delivered an overview of the evolving EU regulatory framework, from its historical roots to insights into pivotal regulations such as MDR, GDPR, EHDS, and the upcoming AI Act initiative.
